Christchurch and Highcliffe

Christchurch borders Bournemouth and the New Forest and is a unique combination of fascinating heritage, beautiful coastline, peaceful rivers and a spectacular natural harbour.

The quaint town with cobbled streets has a good selection of independent and multiple shops, as well as an outstanding selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants.

Christchurch Priory is a beautiful church dominating the skyline, yet tucked away in a quiet corner overlooking both the Rivers Stour and Avon. It is reputed to be the longest parish church in England. Highcliffe was once in the county of Hampshire but now is the most easterly parish in Dorset. There are good beaches and excellent coastal views across to the Isle of Wight. Highcliffe has a shopping street that runs parallel to the sea. There is a good selection of local shops as well as restaurants, pubs and new forest hotels to suit all tastes.
