Asbestos - The Hidden Killer |

 The serious topic of asbestos in the workplace will be presented to members and guests at the next monthly networking meeting organised by the New Forest Branch of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB). The meeting will be held at the Crown Hotel, Lyndhurst on Tuesday 7 September 6.30pm – 8.30pm.
The guest speaker is Ian White of Solent Environmental (Asbestos) Ltd, a Southampton -based company and experts in all sectors of asbestos abatement and removal.
Chairman of the New Forest Branch, Rob Dewing, said: “Most people are aware that there are dangers and legal obligations with asbestos but do not always have the correct information about what these are. Small business owners need to know what the true picture is and what their responsibilities in relation to asbestos are. The presentation will provide essential information and we hope as many small business owners as possible will come along and find out about this important issue.”
