FSB holds Fire Safety presentation |

An autumn business breakfast organised by the Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch Branch of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) is to focus on fire safety. The event will take place at Bentley’s Dudsbury Golf Course on Thursday 19 November starting at 7.30am. Dorset Fire and Rescue Service will be attending and will give a presentation and a demonstration. In addition there will be information from FSB Members, Wessex Fire Protection. There will also be an opportunity to network and the event will finish with the branch’s Annual General Meeting, which begins at 9.00am. Chairman of the branch, Bill Dedman, said: “Fire regulations affect all non-domestic premises in England and Wales and it appears that not all small business owners are fully aware of their responsibilities under the new fire rules. This is a must-know topic as the consequences of not being fully aware can be deadly.” The business breakfast and presentation is open to all small business owners. The AGM at 9.00am is for FSB Members only. The branch will also be looking for small business owners to help by joining the branch committee.
