FSB present cheque to Mayor of Christchurch charities - Vizzit Christchurch Online Magazine

Chairman of the Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch branch of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) has presented fellow FSB member and Mayor of Christchurch, Councillor David Flagg, with £600 towards his charities. The presentation took place at the recent full council meeting.

The money was raised in a raffle and auction at a charity barbeque, sponsored by The Christchurch Harbour Hotel and was attended by over 70 FSB members and guests.

Branch Chairman, Bill Dedman, said: “It was a very enjoyable event. I would particularly like to thank all our members who attended for their generosity.”

Mayor of Christchurch, Councillor David Flagg, said: “I would like to thank the FSB and their members for their continued support of the Mayors Charities here in Christchurch. It is extremely heartening that in these very difficult economic times members have been very generous with their donations.”
