Young people (and their parents!) in Christchurch looking for things to do during half term should find something interesting in the Play Ranger sessions run free of charge by Christchurch Council. Activities range from den building to team games as well as many sessions on the popular NEOS machine. Egg drop sessions allow children to come up with innovative ways of catching eggs dropped from a height without breaking them. Sessions are as follows: Monday 15 February Jumpers Common, 11am – 12 noon - Den Building Friar’s Cliff, 1pm - 2pm - Team Games Tuesday 16 February Burton - Priory View Road, 11am – 12 noon - Team Games Highcliffe Recreation Ground, 1pm - 2pm - Egg Drop Wednesday 17 February Mudeford Recreation Ground, 11am – 12 noon - Superheroes Waterman’s Park, 1pm - 2pm - NEOS Session Thursday 18 February Christchurch Quay, 11am – 12 noon - NEOS Session River Way Play Park ,1pm - 2pm - Egg Drop Friday 19 February Mudeford Recreation Ground 11am - 12.30pm - NEOS and other activities Sessions are open to anyone aged up to 18, but children under the age of eight should be accompanied by an adult.
