New Website for Food Festival 2009 
A newly-revamped website has just been launched for the Christchurch Food & Wine Festival to mark the tenth year of the popular event. The website – www.christchurchfoodfest.co.uk - features details of all of the events that will be taking place throughout this year’s Festival which runs from 8 to 17 May.
It also gives biographies of the celebrity chefs who will be appearing at the Festival: Lesley Waters, Gary Rhodes and the Tanner Brothers. Other features include a gallery of photos from previous Festivals and a video showing the highlights of last year’s Festival as well as a page giving a history of the development of the Festival in the ten years since it was first conceived.
There are pages dedicated to the Food Festival Education Trust as well as the Friends of the Food Festival giving details of how people can join. Mary Reader, the President of the Food Festival, said: “The website now has a fresh modern feel to it which reflects the exciting way the Festival has developed since we first came up with the idea ten years ago. “I’m sure people will find it a lot easier to find out about all the events that we have planned for this year’s Festival on a day-by-day basis.” The website has been designed by Richard Clark of T5 in collaboration with members of the Food Festival organising committee. |
