A charity evening organised by local business women has raised £1,100 for three breast cancer charities. The Women in Harmony event was held at the Christchurch Harbour Hotel and organised by members of the Christchurch Women in Business Network (WIBN). Tickets sold out for the event which had stalls with, jewellery, wraps, bags, shoes, healthy eating, hair and skincare consultations, mini health checks and a series of presentations. A raffle also raised large amounts to push up the final figure. The money will be shared between. Breakthrough Breast Cancer, the pioneering charity which aims to change and save lives through research, campaigning and education by removing the fear of breast cancer for good; the Pink Champagne Christchurch Dragon Boat which encourages women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer to lead full and active lives, along with Colour for Life with House of Colour. Sandra Attrill, organiser and WIBN member, said: “I’d like to thank everyone involved for achieving this fantastic result. It was the first time the ladies of WIBN had got together this way and the evening was very well supported and a lot of fun. The Christchurch Harbour Hotel was also very supportive. As a result, we can make a good-sized donation to some very worthy causes.” CONTACT: Sandra Attrill – 01425 478868 Left to Right: WIBN Christchurch Members.
