The Every Loser Wins charity boot camp challengers have reached the end of their summer of determination and have not only lost over 85lbs but have raised £2,114 for Julia’s House and the Christchurch Community Partnership. The challenge was organised by personal trainer, Jango Alptekin and supported by the Fit Christchurch project. Seven contestants began their charity weight-loss boot camps with Jango back in June. As an added incentive there were great prizes on offer. The first prize, for the person losing the most weight, was a brand-new mountain bike, sponsored by Nat West Bank, and this was won by Oliver Dingley who lost a brilliant two-and-a-half stones. Oliver can continue his weight-loss quest as he also won 12-months free boot camp training, worth £1200. Second prize was six months’ boot camp, worth £600 won by Aimi Healey who lost 26lbs and third prize winner Shelley Meeks, who lost 24lbs and won three months’ boot camp, worth £300. The life-transforming boot camps were held at Rossmore OLGA gymnasium and at Highcliffe Castle beach. Jango, of Jango Health and Fitness, said: “It’s been an amazing event. We had seven challengers who made a big commitment. I hope that the challenge has set them all on the road to a healthy lifestyle that will see them continue with good diet and exercise. ” Rev Sandra Prudom, Chairman of the Christchurch Community Partnership said: "I am sure that at times the contestants have wondered what they got themselves into, but I’m sure now they’ve seen and felt the benefits that they will be pleased they got involved" If you would like more details or if you are interested in making a big commitment to change your own lifestyle, contact Jango on 07828538560 or visit www.jangohealthandfitness.co.uk |
