UK Youth Open Day & Fete, Ecominds Project Launch, at Avon Tyrell Activity Centre - Vizzit Christchurch Online Magazine

Fun for all the family! From 1pm on 5th September the UK Youth Activity Centre, Avon Tyrrell in Bransgore will be hosting a variety of entertainment for all the family with live music, dance, craft stalls, tombola, raffle, activities and refreshments.

The afternoon will see the official launch of the newest project, Ecominds which is being run in partnership with Solent Mind.  The project provides invaluable opportunities for people with mental health issues which will help them to get back into work or training, to build confidence, relationships and self-esteem. The three year project, funded by the Big Lottery Fund will include building a new garden to celebrate UK Youth’s centenary in 2010,  forestry and lakes conservation work and re-establishing the listed Victorian fruit and veg gardens.
