Bransgore

The pretty village of Bransgore rests in the south west corner of the New Forest on the edge of the National Park. With a population of just over 4,000 it is a vibrant community with a wide range of businesses, pubs, clubs and societies.
It offers a good range of services for residents and visitors alike. Facilities include a school, a village hall and a post office along with services such as doctors, dentist and opticians. The Parish of Bransgore extends to Hampshire’s border with Dorset and includes the hamlets of Beckley, Godwinscroft, Hinton, Holmsley, Neacroft and Waterditch and also includes the village of Thorney Hill.
There remain traditional shops such as a butcher and a baker and there are general stores and other trades. Bransgore is within easy reach of the New Forest market towns of Ringwood and New Milton and just a few miles from the historic coastal town of Christchurch.
There are numerous picturesque and historic properties, including the Three Tuns public house and restaurant which was built in the 17th century as farm buildings and converted into a pub in the early 20th Century.
